Huge thanks to Synchro and to all who attended last night - the evening was a great success and the show looked amazing!
The weekend-long event hosted by Derek Shaw and SoSLUG was well attended & a great success!
Due to events at Village Green this weekend and a weekend-long booked event on 3rd & 4th October, TAP and the Come Together show will be closed to the public on Saturday and Sunday for the next TWO weeks, however we will still be open on Thursdays and Fridays between 10am and 2pm and by appointment at other times.
Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.
Roll up, roll up... Remember to come and visit us at the Village Green this Saturday - we have a tent by the Old Leigh Road entrance from 11am till 6pm filled with works by both emerging and established artists local and national, including interactive art, oddities, curiosities and more - for one day only!
There is a centre page feature in the Echo today with photos from the launch night - pages 20-21.
ARCHIVE NIGHT
Hosted by The White Bus
Every Wednesday, 7pm
Starts 16th September
Admission FREE
Running films from The White Bus's extensive film archive. There’s no programme organised for these screenings, simply turn up at 7pm to see classic British documentaries and at 8pm The White Bus will be screening a British movie from their vast collection. The screenings will be free, but TWB would be grateful for any small donation to go towards the upkeep of the archive and the TAP building.
Please feel free to bring your own drink and nibbles with you.
Thanks to all who came along this Saturday for the Open Day - we enjoyed screenings from The White Bus, chandelier-making with Metal, and were also able to christen the print and darkroom facilities with free workshops thanks to Alex and Emma who ran drop-in Monoprint and Cyanotype workshops through the day. All this rounded off by a few bites on the barbecue in the glorious sunshine...
